Easter Part Three

Sunday afternoon we went to John and Janice's to celebrate Easter and meet their new granddaughter.

Janice had planned another egg hunt for the boys.  It was such a beautiful day, it was outside.  Trevin has a knack for finding eggs.  He discovered these eggs had candy inside of them and would open them up and put the candy in his basket and toss the eggs aside.

He wasn't too sure about his Mama holding this baby!
They had a great time chasing bubbles around the yard;
and the remote control cars around the driveway.
I just love seeing them have such a good time and just being kids.

Easter Part Two

What a beautiful day Sunday was.  I love Easter service with all the music and flowers and smiling faces.  We have an egg hunt during
Sunday School hour.  The boys had a great time.

What a handsome family.  easeas

Easter Part One

We usually celebrate our family Easter on Saturday to accommodate other schedules.
Carrie drew bunny footprints
up to the front porch.  Unfortunately it rained a couple hours later and washed it all away.
We had our egg hunt.  I was so intent on following the boys around, I didn't get many pictures.  The adults are always very competitive in finding their eggs and baskets.
From the way these guys got into finding all their eggs and then helping find the rest of the adult eggs, I might need to set them against the adults next year.  This guy found our "prize egg" which I always hide in a difficult place.  His parents unselfishly agreed to hold onto the Starbucks gift card which was this year's prize.
Then we opened the baskets or hats this year.

 We then colored eggs.
I am so glad that all my kids still enjoy doing these activities.

Decisions

So many choices, do I use my fork, my spoon, my left hand, my right hand?

How about all of the above!

Topsy-Turvey

I made the mistake of holding Trevin upside down. Then Kaiden wanted me to hold him the same way. Then Trevin wanted again. Over and over, again Gram, again.

I wore out before they did, but hearing them giggle was well worth it.

Spring Walk

The first weekend of spring was cold and spitting snow. The boys wanted to go for a walk. So we bundled up to walk around the block.

They were so excited, Kaiden wanted to walk in the snow.  It had been so warm that the snow wasn't sticking.
They didn't have gloves with them, so I put some of mine on them, they weren't too bad on Kaiden, but they were so funny on Trevin.

They ran ahead of us and would stop and wait for us to catch up.
Finally, at the end of the block on the north side of a fence we found snow.  There was just enough to have a quick snowball fight.
