Eight Months

He is 8 months old and I haven't been able to hold him since March 13th.  We drove by to say hello on Sunday (keeping our distance and with our masks on) and he stared at me like he didn't know who I was (even when I pulled down my mask).  Hope this will be over soon and we get to see everyone again.

Who's Who?

When Stacy sent me this picture I wondered why she sent two side by side like this, but thought it was just because the smile was different.

Later she asked me if I knew which one was which.  I said I thought they were both Rylan.  Nathan said he guessed wrong too.

Spoiler Alert - Gavin is on the left.

Bed Hog

I told Stacy when she sent me this picture of Rylan on her bed he looked like a bed hog the way he is spread out.  But actually he looks like a sleeping angel.

Rylan's Quilt

I didn't get around to taking a picture of the quilt I made for Rylan, but here it is.

Masks

We have been asked to wear masks when we are outside of our home or yard.  So I raided my fabric stash and made masks for myself and Tito to wear when we take our daily walks (there isn't many other places we go).

I then made masks for all the kids.  Guitars for Nathan and Dave, purple for Stacy, cats for Carrie, pirates for Kaiden and Mickey Mouse for Trevin and Gavin.

You can't tell, but I was told there were smiling.

Easter with Covid 19

Easter 2020 was like none other in my life.  We are still under a stay at home order with instructions not to gather and stay 6 feet apart when we do go out and wear masks. We usually  attend church and everyone comes here for a big meal and an egg/basket hunt.  Most of that has to wait this year.

This is what church looks like for the time being - streamed over the internet and do it yourself communion.  We are thankful for the technology to be able to do this.
We received pictures of the boys with their Easter baskets.  This shot of Rylan was an outtake from one of the pictures, but his face is priceless.
Here is one with all 4 of the boys.  Stacy said it took about a thousand tries to get a good one!

Here Gavin is showing off Peppa Pig tattoos.

We were able to Skype with the boys and their parents.  Another bit of technology we are thankful for.

Snail Mail

We miss these boys so much!  We can talk to them and get to see pictures, but last week we decided to send them a card.  We drew pictures to see if they could guess what they were.  They had enjoyed playing Pictionary the last time we were all together.  Stacy said they loved it.  I asked them to draw pictures and send them back.

Here is a Gavin writing back.  Can hardly wait for the mail!
