Christmas 2025

The Monday before Christmas the boys came over to continue our Christmas traditions.

They had an indoor snowball fight which always includes everyone throwing at me.

We decorated cookies to eat when we go out to look at Christmas lights and for dessert on Christmas day.

They made their own dinner - hot dog eggies.  Not a choice I would make but they love it.

Picture by the Christmas tree.  Rylan has a black top hat on so he blends into Trevin's shirt.  (I really don't think T was trying to strangle R)

On Christmas day I went and had a nice lunch with David and then went to Nathan's.  We had a wonderful dinner and then exchanged gifts.  We also played a passing game (left, right) with funny gifts.

Christmas Parties

The facility where Tito is had their Christmas party last weekend.  Santa Claus and The Grinch made an appearance.

We got together with our good friends last week to celebrate.  We made a stop to see David first and bring him some goodies.

Christmas Prep II

I had checked out a children's cookbook at the library and had them pick out what they wanted to make for lunch.  They chose strawberry and yogurt parfaits and waffles.

They did a great job - it was delicious.

We made Christmas cards for Tito.

Christmas Prep I

The boys came over and helped me decorate the tree.

They wore Santa hats and had an indoor snowball fight.

I found a set of Lego ornaments which they made.  I was impressed with how little help Rylan needed.

November

Trevin continued to play basketball.  Kaiden's school had their tryouts and he made the junior varsity team this year.  His season starts in December.

The family, Gary and Vivien, John and Janice, and Dave got together to celebrate David's 81st birthday.  Everyone brought food to the facility.  Carrie called.  We had a good time.

Gavin and Rylan have been asking to spend the night, so I took them home with me after David's party.  Rylan read us Green Eggs and Ham and part of Horton Hears a Who at bedtime.  He is a very good reader.

The next morning they wanted pancakes with colors in them.

We had Thanksgiving at my house.  Nathan and Stacy cooked the turkey and brought it over.  I made the sides.  We played Bingo (it has come to be a tradition - I save all my change throughout the year for the prizes).  Rylan won the big prize for the blackout game.  He used a card that Kaiden had just given up!
