July was a busy month for us. The boys came over every Monday and we just had fun.
We had water gun fights.
There was time for big brothers to help their little brothers with video games.
We took our annual trip to Eldorado Springs. The boys sharpened sticks on rocks;
took the annual picture of the boys sitting on the rocks;
and threw pinecones off the bridge to see which one would float the furthest down the river. While I took this picture of the boys spotting theirs floating a couple of fishermen came by and thought we were spotting fish.
We took our shoes off and waded in the river (it was cold);
threw rocks into river, splashed each other;
and had a ball.
The older boys wanted to hike the mountain, but Rylan did not so he and I stayed at the picnic spot and blew bubbles while they made it to the top.
I stayed at the boy's house while their parents went to Las Vegas for their anniversary. Every night there was a soccer game.
We took a trip to Georgetown to ride the narrow gauge railroad.
We painted rocks, we divided into teams to make a scavenger hunt for things that we could see along the road on the way to the mountains (things like a sign advertising a lawyer, a WY license plate, etc). We played board games every night and some afternoons. I think we had as much fun as their parents did in Las Vegas.
