Seven Months!

Boy this time is going fast.  We haven't been able to see him for 2 1/2 weeks because of the Covid 19.  They change so quickly at this age.  It looks like we won't be able to see him for another month.  😢  At least we have pictures and see him when we Skype.  It just isn't the same though.

Spring

I found this happy little sign of spring in my yard the other day.  I have the smallest daffodils I have ever seen.  I just had to bring them inside.  I have my Easter décor out even though it doesn't look like we can do our big celebration this year.  😞  We aren't even having church services until May 10th.  But this too will pass and it is better to be safe.

Coronavirius

Since Tito has an immunity deficiency we haven't been going anywhere for going on three weeks now and since Stacy is working from home and Gavin was sick last week we haven't had the kids for over a week.  I am pretty content to stay at home - I have plenty of things to do - reading, sewing, puzzles and spring cleaning.  This was the scene this morning as I moved all the furniture in the house and vacuumed.  One more day to scrub all the floors on my hands and knees and the bulk of it will be done.

Now if I didn't have to tell Tito 10 times a day (or more) that there are no restaurants open for dining in, no movie theatres, the library, rec center, Starbucks are also closed and it isn't a smart idea to go walk around Target!

I Have Feet

It has been difficult to change diapers and dress this little guy lately because he is constantly putting his feet into his mouth.

New Sheriff in Town

I bought this sheriff's had in the $1 bin at Target several years ago along with a fireman's hat and they have turned out to be a great investment.  All the boys have played with them and now we have a new sheriff in town.
His term was pretty short because Gavin had to use it so he and his dragon could put Tito in jail.

That's What Grandma's Do

I met my long time friend, Fayette, for breakfast last week to celebrate our birthdays.  We both worked for the same company in the 38 years ago and discovered our birthdays were a day apart.  We talked and caught up mostly about our grandchildren because that is what Grandmas do.
