Easter 2015

 A little late posting this ... but we celebrated Easter in our usual way.  We got together the Saturday before Easter and had Easter baskets.  Kaiden found his first.

 The weather was so nice we had our egg hunt outside.  There is a special egg that comes with a prize and it is always hidden a little bit better than the others.  Or so I thought.  It was the very first egg Trevin found.  I guess the bunny needs to up her game next year!

Eggs were colored.  These two took it very serious.

The next day we went to church to celebrate.  And Trevin who smiles every time a camera appears decided to make faces!

Magic Bed

When we stayed in Estes Park for the wedding a few weeks ago, the boys slept on the pull out sofa in the living room.  They called it a magic bed.

First Communion

We were blessed to celebrate Trevin's first communion tonight.  It was a wonderful experience.

When You Give a Kid a Camera...

Well, I didn't exactly give him the camera.  I left it on the counter when I went to tak a shower and Tito was watching them finish breakfast.  This is some of what I found when I downloaded the pictures!

Bedtime Stories with Gram

When I do bedtime stories, I ask the boys to select the book(s) they want and we sit down to read.  Sometimes I read, sometimes Kaiden reads now.  We go slowly with each page and look at the pictures and ask questions about what is going on and point out things.  This is what I did with Nathan, this is what my mother did with me.

Tito and I have different methods, but they seem to like both ways.

Bedtime Stories with Tito

When Tito tells a bedtime story - he makes it up as he goes.  He can spin great tales that have the boys hanging on his every word.  He asks them questions and lets them take part in the story.  He did this for Carrie when she was little and his father did this for him.  They do enjoy this kind of bedtime story.

Twins? Triplets?

The kids get asked quite often if the boys are twins.  ????
Okay, I see the resemblance.  I know that they dress alike most of the time.  But look at the size difference!  They are twins born 3 years and 3 months apart!.

So if you are going to look at their clothes and think they are twins, would you look at these three and think they are triplets?

Tito had gone to pick up Kaiden and discovered they all were dressed alike!
