9 Pounds 4.9 Ounces; 21 3/4 Inches

Meet Kaiden Christopher - he was born 2/4/09 at 6:51 pm weighing 9 lbs, 4.9 oz and was 21 3/4 inches long. Nathan and Stacy did not look like this by the time he was born. They reported to the hospital
yesterday at 8 am and Stacy was induced at 9 am - thirty two hours later she started to push. Kaiden was very reluctant to be born and after several attempts by the doctor to deliver him using forceps, he told Stacy they would need to do a C-section. Stacy said please let me try one more time and one more time was all it took.

His daddy loves him.

His Gram loves him

His Tito loves him

His Grandma Pat loves him
After they weighed him, Stacy said "no weigh him again, that is too big!

Dear Kaiden,

I'm your auntie Carrie Lynn. I love you so much and I don't even know you yet! Your mom and dad prayed for you, and God sent you to them. Your mom and dad dated for a long time before they got married, and then waited some more to have you. But now, you are finally here. Your Grammy Helen has been so scared and excited. She loves you more then you will ever know. Your Tito loves you too. He will be the best grandpa in the world. You are a very blessed young man. You are being born into a world-in the year of Obama being elected president. I'm probably the only one in the family who voted for him. I'm pretty liberal, and so is Tito. The rest of the family, inc. your mom and dad, are pretty strait laced. That's one of the great things about your family, we all have very different view points, but we all love and respect one another. I wonder now what you will be when you grow up. Mostly I look forward to when you don't poop in your pants and have massive boogers that hang out your nose. I will always be here for you. If you ever need to talk, or cry, or laugh, or whatever, I promise that I will always be here. You will always have your Auntie Carrie to count on. Life will bring you wonderful things, and hard things, beautiful things, and things you don't understand. The best part about it, is that you will always be surrounded by love. This world became just yesterday, a better and more beautiful place-because you were born. Viva la Kaiden!!
Besos,
Your favorite aunt. Carrie Lynn Espinosa
Ps. Don't do drugs. Don't drink. Stay in school. Laugh often. Be good to your parents, they love you even if you don't realize it.

Hooray. Have your feet touched the ground yet. He sure is a big boy – how are Mom, Dad and son doing. Doesn’t it sound odd to refer to Nathan as Dad? Love to All. Fayette
