Notice the thumb in his mouth. Nathan would not take a pacifier and it would have been a full time job for me to keep that thumb out of his mouth! I was very lucky that Nathan just stopped sucking his thumb when he was about 2.

How sweet. I wanted my kids to suck their thumbs... but they wouldn't. Instead I had to retrieve pacifiers from under the crib ( or worse... stuck between the wall and the bumper pad) in the middle of the night (o:
