Easter

We were able to get together for Easter this year.  We had our traditional egg and basket hunt.  Nathan and Dave found the special eggs.  I didn't take very many pictures.  We were too busy eating, visiting and having a good time.  Here are some pictures of the egg hunt.

 

It was a beautiful day and the boys kept going outside to play leaving Rylan behind.  We had to lock the doors because he is very quick about opening them and escaping.  He was not very happy with us.

Kaiden's Birthday Outing

We waited until Tito and I had our vaccinations to take Kaiden on his Birthday outing.  We went to the Wings over the Rockies Air and Space Museum.

It is housed in a hangar at the former Lowry Air Force base.  Tito's father was stationed here during World War II which is why Tito was born in Colorado not in Texas.

This is a personal helicopter kit and Kaiden thought it would be great to have one!

Standing in front of a cockpit of a commercial airline.  There were commercial and military planes, helicopters, gliders, models of bombs and even models of aircraft from Star Wars.  One of them was signed by the stars and crew from Star Wars including Harrison Ford.

It was an amazing experience.  We saw a very informative film about how air travel has changed the world.  We think it would be more fun to go back when the pandemic is over to do some of the interactive displays which were closed, but it was a fun day with a great kid.

Spring Break

Last week was spring break and Nathan, Stacy and the boys went to Great Wolf Lodge which is like an indoor amusement park.  It was good it was inside because there were 3 snow storms last week.

They all got wolf years but only Mom and Dad wore them.

Too Big

 It's not going to be too long before he catches up with me.  He is even with his mother right now.  

A week ago we had over 2 feet of snow with drifts much higher.  After the digging out there was a hill of snow to be conquered and they took advantage of it.

Birthday

 My birthday was a couple of weeks ago and I got exactly what I wanted.  Nathan, Stacy, the boys, Carrie and Dave came over and brought dinner and we played games.  Couldn't ask for anything better.
