I am debating if I should paint it a more attractive color or leave it this color Tito and I remember from elementary school. I do love the scratched desk top and the pencil slot that has been marked with pencils and pens and will leave that the way it is.

How cute. I love the last picture of him reading. I found some old school desks when my kids were little and they used them for years. Now my grandkids use them.
Now how did he know what to do with that desk? Smart boy! I think the wear and tear of the metal gives the desk its character. Shows that it has been sat in by many a child, and many lessons learned therein.
